
Pembroke Pines, FL. – January 28, 2013— VooDoo BBQ & Grill, the nation’s fastest-growing barbecue franchise, raised more than $1,000 for the Pembroke Pines Relay For Life. Restaurant representatives Jack Flechner and Joe Sloboda presented a check during to the organization during a recent meeting held at The Southwest Focal Point Senior Center. The money will be split up among
all of the participating teams. VooDoo BBQ & Grill raised the money at a special event held on January 12, a night before the restaurant’s official grand opening. More than 140 people attended. “We are very pleased to support this great local charity and look forward to participating in their event coming up in March,” said Jack Flechner, managing partner of The BBQ Boyz, LLC which owns the franchise rights to VooDoo BBQ in South Florida. Relay For Life Pembroke Pines will be held March 1, 2013 at the Walter C. Young Middle School.
